On March 31, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) unveiled a newly designed and streamlined website, which HUD Secretary Scott Turner said will allow it to fulfill its statutory “responsibilities while efficiently and effectively providing vital information to the American public.”
In all, HUD says the new site features a 90% reduction in content from the previous website; 80% of the traffic on the previous HUD.gov was on less than 5% of its pages, HUD says.
HUD, for now at least, continues to also maintain its HUD User site.
