LeadingAge member National Church Residences was awarded a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant under the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP), the only award of this round to a Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly community.

HUD announced $73.5 million in new loans and grants to HUD-assisted multifamily communities to support extensive energy efficiency and climate resilience renovations on February 22.  HUD has announced $368 million in GRRP awards thus far.
