The monthly Housing Operations Workgroup is a tight knit group of housing professionals who focus on asset management, compliance and oversight, facilities management, budget submissions, and general housing operations. Members share best practices for navigating HUD requirements, and together we develop recommendations to the federal agencies for improving program administration.

Access to services is critical for older adults served by federally-assisted housing, and our mission-driven members excel at supporting residents as they age. Join our discussions on Service Coordinator programming, budgets, reporting, and quality assurance, as well resident services and wellness programs. During our monthly calls, members share best practices with each other and contribute to advocacy efforts for expanded service-enriched housing options.

LeadingAge is helping housing members make sense of the major changes driven by the federal government beginning in January 2025. Join us for discussions and actions to advance LeadingAge’s affordable housing policy goals, including priorities around the HUD budget, Medicare and Medicaid access for affordable housing residents, preservation through the Rental Assistance Demonstration, continued access to the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP), and more.
