Ahead of the August 8 compliance date, the first part of a two-part resource is now available to help members prepare for the Facility Assessment requirement that is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) minimum staffing standards final rule.

Located on the  Nursing Home Requirements of Participation (RoP) Tools and Resources page under the “Facility Assessment” section, the resources are an addendum to the previously released Facility Assessment resources from the original 2017 implementation and the October 2022 updates to interpretive guidance.

Under “Facility Assessment Addendum – August 2024,” there are additional supplements to the personnel resources in the October 2022 Facility Assessment Toolkit.
