The webinar will cover best practices in developing trainings for health care workers and first responders in caring for people with dementia and their caregivers. Jenni Joes and Tara Hill Mathews from Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington will present on their award-winning training program and provide insights on developing similar training programs for first responders. Providers may be interested in attending this webinar to inform their own staff training, and consider developing training to support local fire and EMS departments in understanding how to compassionately respond and care for individuals with dementia.
