On June 29, CMS released long-awaited surveyor guidance on phase 3 of the Requirements of Participation (RoPs), along with revisions to other requirements in Phase 2 and other aspects of existing guidance. With the release of this guidance, nursing home providers can now aim to implement all Phase 3 requirements by the new deadline of October 24, 2022.
