RTI International, a contractor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will be hosting a public virtual listening session on October 1 on the possibility of expanding the collection and submission of MDS data used in the SNF QRP to include all residents receiving short-term skilled care regardless of payer. CMS is seeking feedback from clinical staff, MDS coordinators, administration and management staff, and software vendors. LeadingAge participated in a previous listening session in September 2023 on this topic.
