Guided by geriatric psychiatrist, Susan Wehry, MD, this virtual workshop explores how to shift from collective trauma to post-pandemic growth and well-being.
Grief and bereavement have always been a part of our work, but the past three years have brought new levels of loss, trauma, and heartache. While it’s natural to want to move forward, recovery requires acknowledging the many layers of suffering and finding ways to heal, as individuals and communities.
During this workshop, attendees will:
Understand the current mental health landscape in our field and consider how bereavement and loss are showing up within organizations.
Explore ways to acknowledge current suffering and prompt dialogue within a community setting.
Consider how to learn from the experience of collective trauma and move toward post pandemic growth.
