This slide deck gives an overview of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP), which provides grants and loans to HUD-assisted multifamily housing properties for energy efficiency and climate resilient upgrades. HUD established the GRRP with funding from the Inflation Reduction Act and incorporated feedback from LeadingAge in the program implementation. LeadingAge continues to work with members to apply for funding through the program. HUD is making awards in waves through 2023 and 2024.
