As the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) moves forward with HOTMA implementation, a list of new or updated housing community policies required for multifamily housing (MFH) providers under HOTMA was provided. HUD’s chart is intended to make MFH Owners aware of the policies they must set in their respective Tenant Selection Plans and EIV policies and procedures by March 31, 2024. HUD will provide timing updates as necessary. The chart includes required policies that have both nondiscretionary and discretionary elements.
