As the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) moves forward with implementation of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) for Multifamily Housing providers, LeadingAge has created a new resource for housing members.

The resource outlines changes to HUD forms and systems that are forthcoming to facilitate HOTMA implementation, including:

• HUD Forms
• TRACS
• HUD Handbook

The resource also describes community policies housing providers will need to adopt or update to reflect new HOTMA requirements, including policies for recertifications and asset limitation enforcement.

LeadingAge will continue to provide trainings and resources to help members to implement HOTMA.
