LeadingAge in a February 18, 2026 letter responded to a congressional oversight inquiry led by Senator Elizabeth Warren regarding the impact of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) cancellations and other immigration policy changes on the aging services workforce. We share the first-hand experiences of members across the country and urge Congress to pair oversight with legislative action to create durable, statutory solutions that provide stability for long‑time workers and the providers and older adults who rely on them.
