Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Sen. John Boozman (R-AR) announced the introduction of the bipartisan Supporting Our Seniors Act on August 2. This bill would create a National Advisory Commission on long-term care services to assess and provide regular reporting to Congress on service delivery, financing, workforce adequacy, and other issues related to long-term care in order to increase access to affordable services.
