The posters were created by an Ohio artist and show the range of opportunities available in our in-demand sector. Posters can be customized with your community’s logo and include a teacher’s guide. Posters also are available in digital form.

The colorful and engaging posters identify 21 jobs in the field of aging services. Focused on students in grades K-6, the program fosters early awareness and interest in our field.

The bi-partisan Nursing Home Workforce Quality Act, HR 1265, offers a fix to a penalty that has vexed nursing homes for decades. When a nursing home gets a fine over $10,000, regardless of the reason, the home automatically by law loses its ability to train staff to be certified by the state as Certified Nursing Assistants (Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program, or NATCEP). The loss stays in place for two years, regardless of how quickly the home fixes the problem and is back in compliance.

The goal of the 3-day summit is to enrich leadership skills for emerging health service executives working in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, continuing care retirement communities, life plan communities, rehabilitation hospitals, home and community-based services, and more.


Participants receive up to 19 CE credits for administrators from The National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB).
