Assisted Living
Assisted living settings, whether part of a life plan community or a stand-alone site, provide older adults with a home, usually an apartment or suite, with access to a range of services and care. Assisted living is not federally regulated; all 50 states have some form of regulation or licensure. Requirements on resident qualifications for admittance vary by state.
