Earlier this fall, Hurricane Ian caused damage, severe flooding, and critical situations for many LeadingAge member communities and their staff. Our LeadingAge members rallied behind those affected and raised money through the LeadingAge Disaster Relief Fund to help offset costs and cover a range of needs for organizations and their staff. We are still receiving requests for immediate needs from affected members–please continue to support the LeadingAge Disaster Relief Fund.
As we approach the end of the year, please consider contributing to a cause that is near and dear to us–developing strong and passionate leaders in our field through the Larry Minnix Leadership Development Fund. There are many opportunities to strengthen the present and future leaders of aging services, as donations go toward supporting leadership program expenses, providing financial assistance to organizations with limited resources, and sustaining alumni network activities.
