Our December 4, 2024 letter to Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, administrator, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS),  explains concerns about duplicative COVID-19 vaccine reporting requirements that unnecessarily pull staff away from resident care and add burden to an already strained workforce. In this communication, which follows up on letters sent May 31 and September 9, we urge the agency to remedy the issue immediately.
