On November 15^th, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Conditions of Participation,  Emergency Preparedness Rule will be implemented. CMS has posted the State Operations Manual Appendix Z Emergency Preparedness for All Provider and Certified Supplier Types Interpretive Guidance(IG).
