The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of HIV/AIDS Housing (OHH) is sponsoring a webinar series on HIV and Aging, as more than half of adults living with HIV are over the age of 50, and by 2030 it will rise to 70%. The webinar series focuses on community resources available and/or targeted to aging people with HIV, including effective strategies and supports to prevent and address feelings of social isolation and loneliness, and frailty and mobility challenges.
The fourth webinar in the series will highlight how to use facility-based housing to address needs of people aging with HIV and ways HOPWA Grantees and project sponsors can increase project-based housing options both through development and partnerships. Register here.
