More than 30 Senators sent a letter to leaders of the U.S. Senate urging an extension of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which offers a discount on monthly internet service to qualifying households including those receiving federal rental assistance. Lead by Sen. Jackie Rosen (D-NV), the letter says the program will run out of funding in a “few short months” without Congressional action.
LeadingAge strongly supports extension of the ACP as a means to bridging the digital divide in affordable senior housing.
