Increasing Efficiencies by Automating Turnover Analytics
Florida-based Beacon Health Management partners with senior health care facility owners, offering facility management to financial services. To reduce turnover, Beacon Health Management analyzes turnover rates by organization and by department and benchmarks turnover results weekly against company averages. By spotting trends, Beacon Health Management can put new processes in place to address potential problems. Yet it had been doing this analysis manually.
After automating the process with CareWork, Beacon Health Management began saving eight to 10 hours per month. Now, the two organizations are looking at ways to empower field management teams to better retain employees—and gather critical information when employees leave, without adding an administrative burden.
Also in partnership with CareWork, Beacon Health Management is working to illuminate the real cost of turnover in the organization by department and role. It is looking at fully loaded payroll costs and factors like separation costs, vacancy costs, and replacement costs. Now with transparency and easy access to turnover and retention results across the organization, leadership can easily see and manage turnover and address issues quickly.
