Applying for a job
Can I sign up for LeadingAge job alerts?
Absolutely! Stay connected with LeadingAge by joining our Talent Community. The Talent Community keeps you informed about the new opportunities relevant to your job profile.
How can I confirm you’ve received my application?
We will send you an email confirmation shortly after we receive your application. If you do not receive the email confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or resubmit your application.
Where can I see my recent applications?
You can view your applications from the ‘My applications’ section when signed into the Talent Community.
Can I apply for multiple positions?
Yes, we welcome your application to all positions with which your interests and qualifications align.
How can I update my profile?
Within the Talent Community members have the opportunity to update their:
- Personal Info
- Voluntary Self-Identification
- Resume
- Areas of Interest
- Education
- Experience
- Skills
- Professional Memberships
- Licenses & Certifications
Can I delete my profile?
Yes. Visit the ‘My profile’ section when signed into the Talent Community. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete My Profile.
How often does LeadingAge update its job postings?
As new positions are developed or existing positions become vacant and depending on the needs of the organization, we have anywhere from 5-12 positions that may become available throughout the year. To stay up-to-date on new opportunities, please join our Talent Community.
Talent Acquisition Process
Once I apply for a position, when should I expect to hear from LeadingAge?
The Employee Experience team reviews applications and conducts interviews on a rolling basis. Applicants selected to move forward in the hiring process will receive email correspondence inviting them to participate in the interview process. The hiring timeline for each position varies greatly, so we’re unable to provide a specific timeline.
What does LeadingAge’s interview process consist of?
We have a streamlined interview process, with an average time-to-fill of approximately three months.
- The first step in our interview process is a phone screen with our Employee Experience Team.
- Selected candidates will then move on to interview with the hiring manager.
- The final candidate will be asked to provide references.
- Upon successful completion of the references, the candidate will be made a verbal and written offer.
Will I be notified if I was not selected for the position to which I applied?
We strive to notify all applicants when a position has been filled.
Does LeadingAge require references?
Yes, we will request references from you directly should you be selected as a finalist for the position.
Does LeadingAge require drug testing?
No, we currently do not require drug testing.
Does LeadingAge require applicants to go through a credit check?
Applicants applying for certain positions (Executive, Finance, Human Resources) within LeadingAge may be subject to a credit check. Applicants will be provided with an authorization for credit check in advance of LeadingAge conducting any such check.
