Today, National Caregivers Day, the nation recognizes the compassionate, dedicated caregiving professionals who form the backbone of every aging services organization. LeadingAge also is mobilizing the public to take action to address the severe shortage of professional caregivers. Check with your LeadingAge state partner for a state-specific action alert. If there is not a current action, you can urge your federal lawmakers to cosponsor the Better Care Better Jobs Act.
