Skilled nursing facilities (SNF) that received a notice in iQIES around July 20 that they are out of compliance with the SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP) requirements for Calendar Year 2022 and wish to request reconsideration of this determination, requests must be submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services via email no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on August 18. Noncompliant SNFs that do not request reconsideration will have Medicare rates cut by 2% for fiscal year 2024.
Also, register for a listening session on expanding SNF QRP data. On behalf of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Acumen LLC is hosting a public virtual listening session on Tuesday, August 29, to solicit feedback on expanding the collection and submission of data used in SNF QRP, to include all residents receiving short-term skilled care in a SNF regardless of payer.
