Sinai Residences Names Marla Samuels Director of Assisted Living

Sinai Residences, Boca Raton, FL, has named Marla Samuels director of assisted living at the Health Center at Sinai Residences. Samuels brings more than 12 years of nursing experience, with a background in home health, patient care, clinical operations, and team leadership. Most recently, she served as director of nursing, home health, at Lifespace Communities, where she led multidisciplinary clinical teams and oversaw regulatory compliance. Her experience includes patient assessment, individualized care planning, case management, staff development, and quality improvement. Samuels holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Tina Becker Promoted to Newly Created Continuum Care Nurse Leader Role at White Horse Village

Fitzgerald is the founder of Atlanta-based advertising agency Fitzgerald & Co., where he served as CEO for more than 40 years. After selling the firm in 2025, he co-founded Sage Communications Advisors, a communications advisory firm serving nonprofit organizations. His board service has included communications, education, hospital, and nonprofit organizations. Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

Sokler has provided strategic communications counsel for four decades, with experience in messaging, crisis management, and risk communication. She spent nearly 20 years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she directed public education campaigns addressing health issues. Sokler holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and advertising from the University of Florida.

Mike Fryar Takes Chief Revenue Officer Position at Vivie

Fryar’s career spans more than 20 years in senior living, health-related consumer services, and revenue strategy. He has led marketing, sales, and revenue growth efforts for organizations, including a large multi-state senior living provider and he has worked extensively in team development, organizational alignment, and growth strategy. As chief revenue officer, Fryar will support growth across Vivie’s continuum of services, including senior living, home health care, rehabilitation, hospice and care management.

Shannon Angell to Lead Clement Manor as President

Previously, she held several leadership roles at St. Camillus, including CEO, chief operating officer (COO), and director of clinical services. Butler is vice president of development for Arch Consultants and serves on the board of Greens Restaurant. Anderson brings more than 30 years of experience in the senior living sector. She previously served as president and CEO of Saint John’s On The Lake.

Chris Ratay Joins Providence Point as Wellness Director

After relocating to Phoenix, AZ, in 2010, he focused his career on wellness programming for older adults. LeadingAge Southeast has added three new professionals to its team, naming Lauren Jones vice president of advocacy, Kelley Mitchell state director of Alabama, and Leslie Morgan membership coordinator of Alabama.

Jones will lead advocacy efforts across Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. Her career spans more than a decade of experience in legislative strategy, policy development, lobbying, and political engagement, including work in grassroots advocacy and policymaker relations.

Mitchell most recently served as executive director of the Assisted Living Association of Alabama and previously was director of the Assisted Living Regulatory Unit for the State of Alabama. Her background includes regulatory affairs, provider engagement, and assisted living oversight.

Morgan has spent 20 years working in health care and long-term care across the public and private sectors. Most recently, she worked with the Assisted Living Association of Alabama and previously held roles with the Alabama Department of Public Health, including its Assisted Living Facility Regulatory Unit and Office of Emergency Medical Services.
