Building a Leadership Pipeline
The Next Level Leadership Series gives aspiring or emerging leaders and mid-level professionals an opportunity to enhance and accelerate their leadership development—gaining a deeper understanding of leadership principles and practices to build and refine their own internal leadership capacity.

Developing Leaders in Aging Services
The Leadership Academy program provides aging services leaders at all levels with a foundation rooted in reflective practice—uncovering one’s unique leadership attributes and learning how to stretch and leverage those capacities in their daily leadership practice. In addition, alumni fellowship activities foster connections across Academy cohorts and further emphasize a lifelong learning approach to leadership development.

Strengthening Leadership for Greater Impact
The New CEO Fellowship program offers CEOs and executive directors new to their role an opportunity to take stock of their individual leadership journey and desired future impact—delving into authenticity and presence in leadership and tapping into one’s inner values or purpose to discover and shape new possibilities.

The Learning Hub, Annual Meeting, and Leadership Summit feature examples of how leaders can strengthen their own leadership capacities while building, developing, strengthening, and maintaining a pipeline of diverse, skilled, and prepared aging services leaders for the future.

Supporting Leaders of Color
It’s critical to have racial and ethnic diversity in management and leadership of providers across the aging services continuum—especially in light of the tremendous diversity of staff in frontline caregiving and support roles. That’s why LeadingAge is committed to supporting a pipeline of professionals for aging services careers that reflect greater representation of people of color.
