The Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) Health IT Collaborative will host an upcoming webinar, in partnership with the HHS Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), to help LTPAC providers with information blocking regulations designed to enable smooth access to patients’ health data and achieve the benefits of health information exchange.
“Information Sharing: Navigating the Federal Information Blocking Regulations in Long-Term & Post-Acute Care,” on Thursday, February 22 from 1-2:30 p.m. ET, will feature presenters sharing how the new regulations affect your organization and why they matter to you. Sharing electronic health information—when and where it is needed—requires thoughtful implementation of health IT-supported workflows and processes.
“Many members have reached out for clarity on these regulations,” said LeadingAge CAST Vice President Scott Code. “We hope this webinar will provide more context, clarity, and understanding of the regulations as we strive to increase information sharing.”
Register today and join us as we answer these and other questions:
- What information needs to be shared and with whom?
- What are information blocking exceptions, and when do they apply?
- Which parts of the regulations are key for long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) operators?
