Smart Immigration Policy Reforms to Address Aging Services’ Needs
Workforce challenges are a longstanding concern for the aging services sector. Now, as America’s population is aging rapidly, the need for additional staff in all job categories—with a particular emphasis on nursing and direct care roles—is increasingly urgent. To maintain and grow foreign-born workers’ presence, reforms to our country’s immigration policy are needed. That’s part of our current focus—and along with that, we’ve developed resources to help members navigate the current policy landscape.
