Each year I get so excited when my team and I get to announce that the LeadingAge Annual Meeting registration is now open!
There are so many reasons to join us in Chicago, November 5–8, for the largest and most inspiring event in aging services—and our best-in-class education program.
This year, we are once again bringing together an incredible lineup of acclaimed authors, innovative thinkers, inspiring speakers, and sector-spanning leaders to address the challenges we face.
The four-day agenda is carefully curated for you to get the most educational value for your time. You’ll engage with experts, discover insights and best practices, connect with like-minded peers, and find solutions to activate your learning in the brand-new E2 (Experience Expo).

2023 Annual Meeting Keynotes
Arthur C. Brooks, Ph.D., Harvard Professor, best-selling author, and columnist with The Atlantic
As we juggle the day-to-day challenges of our work in aging services, it’s easy to lose track of happiness and purpose. Can we address work challenges more effectively with a dose of ancient wisdom, meaning, and joy?
Arthur Brooks says we can.
He’ll kick off the Monday, November 6, general session with an inspiring and thought-provoking address about human happiness.
Karen Walrond, activism and leadership coach, and Senior Director of Global Engagement, Brené Brown Education and Research Group
We share a common goal to make the world a better place to grow old. But despite our steadfast commitment, we are encountering steep headwinds and find ourselves seeking sources of inspiration and hope along the way. How can we sustain our work as we strive toward a better future for everyone?
Karen Walrond will take the stage on Tuesday, November 7, to explore how to rebel against the ageism and assumptions that hold us back, redefine the adventure of getting older, and create a shining future of expanded potential.

Turn Learning Into Action in the All-New E2 (Experience Expo)
You asked; we listened!
We’ve heard that you want the expo to be less transactional and sales-focused. Less roaming down aisleways and more open, engaging, interactive, and importantly, experiential.
This year, the largest expo in aging services has been revamped with education in mind. Unlike any other expos, E2 is arranged around seven learning communities that correlate to seven education tracks. Connecting the education to the expo in ways that haven’t been done before.
As you learn from education program experts, E2 is the place to meet with solution providers, discuss project needs, and continue learning. Hands-on discovery moments, collaboration activities, and unexpected sources of inspiration make E2 a can’t-miss destination!
We’ve also created trendy lounge spaces to connect with your peers and large scale activations relating to three important questions facing aging services. Stop into each activation to create a deeper, more meaningful conference experience and unique way to interact with exhibitors.
At E2, you can also listen to live music, grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and enjoy the conversations! Don’t forget to check out the new collaborative spaces and shared learning pods to meet and debrief the day’s learnings with your team.
This year’s Annual Meeting is the perfect place to learn about the latest trends and developments, network and connect with like-minded professionals, and be inspired by some of the best minds in our sector.
