Let’s create a society unbiased about growing older – a society that embraces age differences and acknowledges that aging is simply a part of life’s journey. This December, LeadingAge leads #FreeFromAgeism, a week-long campaign to build awareness of ageism, and promote our vision, an America Freed from Ageism.

Observe #FreeFromAgeism Awareness Week by participating in our hashtag challenges each day, sharing information and stories about ageism, and starting conversations with family and friends about how ageism has affected you. This is a two-way conversation; we are all impacted by ageism.

Here are some ways to participate:

PROMOTE #FREEFROMAGEISM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Whether you’re using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram – or all of the above – engage your communities in discussions on ageism and how it affects us all.

Be sure to follow us on social media at @LeadingAge and use the hashtag #FreeFromAgeism in your posts. Feel free to use our sample posts below and explore our social media banners and infocards.
