Celebrating Love in Aging Services: #CareIsLove

This Valentine’s Day, LeadingAge is celebrating the bonds of love that grow throughout aging services. From Thursday, February 11 to Sunday, February 14, LeadingAge will transform our social accounts into a #CareIsLove celebration, including a targeted paid social effort to ensure maximum engagement among our social network and to expand our reach and visibility. To make it easy to participate, LeadingAge is providing customizable social graphics and templates, sample social posts, and op-ed, press advisory and pitch call templates for members. Use the materials on this page to join us.

FMLA and Paid-Leave Survey

Help us understand your experience with the paid FMLA provisions enacted into law by the Families First legislation and the expanded unemployment benefits from the CARES Act., as Washington considers extending these or similar provisions. This information will provide us with helpful data as we evaluate these proposals. Please complete a short survey (very short if none of your employees took leave!). Questions? Contact Marsha Greenfield.

Today’s Online Coronavirus Policy Update

COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among staff is in the news and top of mind for LeadingAge members. Join us on today at 3:30 p.m. ET to hear from LeadingAge member Scott Crabtree from Lambeth House in New Orleans. He will discuss his community’s policies that helped get over 97% of staff vaccinated and how he used a strategic education campaign to alleviate concerns among staff and residents.
