Celebrate with us this Mother’s Day weekend to lift up the positive stories and share the joy of this special holiday. LeadingAge prepared a toolkit with ideas, sample text, public relations templates, and social media tools for your use. Tag us on your social media posts, or post quotes that capture the joy in the day.

Tell Congress: Make Telehealth Access A Priority

Webinar: Strengthening the Direct Care Workforce

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed long-standing fault lines in the direct care workforce—the people who provide hands-on care and supervision to frail older adults and people with disabilities. On June 3, LeadingAge’s Senior Vice President of Research, Robyn Stone, will participate in a webinar hosted by Mathematica to discuss evidence-based policies and practices for strengthening the direct care workforce in the wake of the pandemic. The LeadingAge Annual Awards honor individuals that embody excellence in mission-focused aging services leadership, are models of quality and innovation, and are making outstanding contributions to our field that merit national recognition. Nominations are currently being accepted in three categories: Award of Honor, RWJF Award for Health Equity presented by LeadingAge, and Joan Anne McHugh Award for Leadership in LTSS Nursing.
