LeadingAge member Ebenezer, which developed the country’s first age-restricted cooperative housing community and manages more than 60 older adult co-ops, has launched a new division to build more of these middle-market options for older adults. The co-op model offers residents ownership, participatory governance, and freedom from maintenance, and has strong appeal to today’s consumers.
